Ashima brings over 15 years of international experience in executive search, talent acquisition, and HR across sectors including retail, consulting, public sector, not-for-profit, life sciences, government, and technology. Before joining Kienbaum, she worked with Maes & Lunau Executive Search in the Netherlands, supporting board-level and senior management appointments. She previously held recruiting and HR roles in both India and Europe, giving her a broad and cross-cultural understanding of leadership dynamics.

Born and raised in Northern India, Ashima moved to the Netherlands seven years ago and quickly integrated into the local culture, making it her own. She has a strong command of English and speaks Dutch at a professional level. Her clear communication style, calm presence, and integrity make her a trusted advisor to clients and candidates alike. Ashima values empathy, inclusivity, and transparency, believing that building meaningful relationships is at the heart of effective leadership.

Ashima holds a Master 's degree in Sociology from Panjab University and is fluent in English, Dutch, Hindi, and Punjabi. She is valued for her hands-on approach, dedication to building inclusive leadership teams, and ability to move effortlessly between international and local contexts.
